The Unexpected Beauty of Indoor Brick Ovens

Anyone who owns a brick oven will tell you it’s the superior way to cook food. Because of their design, they distribute heat evenly, use very little wood for fuel, and cook food faster than traditional ovens. They’re one of those phenomenal things that never caught on in mainstream home design but I have a feeling that’s about to change. Brick ovens don’t exactly evoke a feeling of elegance and luxury, but they’ve grown a lot in the last ten years as commercial kitchens are adapting to residential ones.
