Lisa Mohindroo is passionate about designing sophisticated transitional homes that are bold, timeless, and uniquely tailored to her client’s needs and lifestyles. She is the only Milwaukee Designer who has had the privilege to work at luxury design firms located in Chicago, Toronto, and now in Milwaukee. Through these experiences, she has had the opportunity to work with and learn from the very best luxury designers in the industry. Through her 14 years of experience, she has mastered the ability to manage projects from start to end and design bold and sophisticated interiors while making sure her clients are receiving stellar services at every stage of their project.
Lisa Mohindroo began pursuing a degree in Psychology at St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. After graduating with a Psychology degree she quickly realized that she wasn’t pursuing her passion and was eager to follow her bliss in finding a more fulfilling career. She wanted to get into something that would allow her creative side to flourish. She remembered as a little girl always being inspired by her Aunt and late grandmother, Mimi, who could transform any ordinary room into something spectacular. This childhood memory sparked a passion that she didn’t know was inside and began exploring the world of interior design as a profession.
Once she set her sights on pursuing a career in Interior Design she went back to school to get her degree and was focused on creating an inspiring and electrifying career in the design world.
Through her 14 years in the industry, she has gained an overwhelming amount of knowledge and expertise on new construction, renovation projects, and the creation of High-End residential spaces. Her philosophy in making sure each project runs efficiently is by creating a detailed design plan, and implementing her design processes and systems throughout the project while making sure communication is at the forefront. With this philosophy in place, Mohindroo Interior clients have a more efficient and enjoyable experience throughout their project while achieving a bold, sophisticated & timeless home of their dreams!

Our clients hire Mohindroo Interiors because they are looking to create a home that is a true reflection of their personal tastes and lifestyle. We start off every project with an Initial Consultation discussing the scope of your project, goals, priorities, timeline, and the budget for your upcoming project. We dive right into having these discussions so we can help you allocate your dollars effectively, manage your expectations for the timeline, and ultimately complete a sophisticated and timeless home for you and your family. We understand the challenges and hurdles you will face on your design project and we want to make sure throughout your project you see the true value our firm will bring to your project.
After the Initial Consultation is completed Mohindroo Interiors will provide you a detailed list of the scope of work, an overview of the project budget and timeline, and more crucial details on what to expect moving forward. At the end of this discovery phase, we want you to feel confident your goals, timeline, and budget for your project have been addressed and agreed upon so we can move smoothly into the next phase of the design process.

After we have a concrete idea of your scope of work, we start the Conceptual Phase. During this phase, we develop a working design concept for your project, which entails furniture layouts, material layouts, elevations, millwork elevations, lighting plan, color palette, furnishing & material selections, light selections, and accessory placement. We understand your time is precious and you may have a limited amount of time to go through the endless options, selections, and decisions that will need to be made throughout your project. Our Firm helps clients navigate through all of these selections and helps them make decisions that will best suit their needs while progressing the project along in a timely fashion. We also include seasoned advice to steer you through making detailed decisions and help you to avoid costly mistakes.

The final step is the Installation Phase where we work hard to make sure the best workrooms, contractors, and vendors are sourced and selected to ensure your job is completed to the highest quality and finish. Mohindroo Interiors sets the bar high and follows through on every aspect of your project with the same integrity. We also understand during this phase, problems may arise. We make sure we take the time to assess the problem, communicate the problem with you, and help solve the problem in a timely, professional manner and of course, to your satisfaction.
Once all work by trades is complete we start the process where the vision becomes reality! We deliver all the furniture, window treatments are installed, rugs laid, accessories placed and art hung. If it can be arranged, we have it all done on the same day so you get that “wow” effect when you come home. Our full-service design firm will help you from start to finish and will work with you to make sure you are satisfied with the end results.

We are a full-service Interior Design Firm with the ability to start at the beginning of every project helping our clients with the schematics all the way through to accessorize their home. We understand the challenges clients face when designing their home. We know the endless selections and decisions that need to be made can be overwhelming, time-consuming, and costly. When working with you on your project our very first goal is to help you understand the overall feel and look for your home.
We do this by providing detailed scale drawings, presentation boards, and renderings to help communicate visually our design concept with our clients. Once the design concept is agreed upon we implement detailed schedules and processes to make sure the project is staying on track. Finally, we keep lines of communication open with the design team and our client to make sure every detail is addressed and our client is receiving stellar customer service throughout the project.
