A Dining Room Connection
Sometimes I feel like my mind goes numb from social media scrolling, so when something catches my eye I really perk up and take notice. I stumbled across this log cabin almost a week ago and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. The concept is so different and yet so nuanced, it’s been fun to peel back the layers and layers of master design and thought.
At first glance the dining room looks like it’s floating due to the fact that it’s so perfectly placed by clear water. This pristine reflection opens up the space and frames the foliage and wild bush background perfectly. And then there’s the dark wood around the lighter stone, creating another frame to highlight the simplicity of the room itself.
And naturally, the rest of the home is just as thoughtfully curated.
I hope you’re having a wonderful week.
